Golden Flower Heicha
Golden Flower Heicha
Golden Flower Fu Brick Tea, or in Chinese, Fu Zhuan Cha is categorized as a post-fermented tea. This simply means this tea is treated like pu’erh, but is not processed or picked in Yunnan province. What makes this tea unique are the “golden flowers” (Jinhua) - a small, yellow fungus on the surface of the brick, caused by wet piling and a 2 year maturation period of the leaves. This tea brews a dark, red liquor, with notes of syrupy date squares and a hint of wet hay. This tea is the Xa Ma La Ya Handmade tea.
